Meet Michael Weaver
Michael was born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia and graduated from North Hall High School. He has lived in Gainesville his entire life and has deep ties to the North Georgia community that go back numerous generations. Growing up, Michael lived on a farm in North Hall where he learned the value of hard work at a young age. To this day, one of Michael’s favorite things to do is to hop on a tractor and work on the family farm. Michael is married to Allie Weaver who is an employee at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville. As a family they have three children–Camille, Chandler, and Mick–a dog named Clyde, three cats, and ten chickens. They are active members of Lakewood Baptist and during their free time they enjoy doing anything outside.
Michael attended college in Dahlonega, Georgia, at the University of North Georgia, where he majored in finance and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. After graduating from the University of North Georigia, Michael attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he graduated in the spring of 2015. While attending law school, Michael received multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, which are presented to the law student with the highest grade in the class. In July of 2015 Michael took the bar exam and became licensed to practice law in October of 2015.
Michael’s first job as a licensed attorney was working as a prosecutor in the Hall County Solicitor’s Office. During this time, Michael prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and tried over forty jury trials. As a prosecutor, Michael dealt with crime victims on a daily basis. This constant contact with victims showed Michael firsthand how important it is to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. After three years working as a prosecutor, Michael went into private practice and joined his father, Mike Weaver, at Weaver Law Firm.
In private practice, Michael has transitioned from litigating criminal cases to litigating civil cases. Throughout his work as a civil litigator, Michael continues to help victims on a daily basis seek the damages they deserve to be made whole after an accident. Michael specializes in helping individuals who have been injured by the actions and negligence of others. Whether you have been injured in a car wreck, a slip and fall accident, a dog bite, a work injury, or some other manner, Michael can assist you in acquiring the damages Georgia law entitles you to following an injury.
