Michael Weaver

Attorney Michael Weaver was born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia and graduated from North Hall High School. He has spent his entire life in Gainesville, with deep family ties spanning multiple generations. Growing up on a farm in North Hall, Michael learned the value of hard work early on. Even today, he enjoys spending time on the family farm, hopping on a tractor to maintain the land.

Michael is married to Allie Weaver, who works at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville. Together, they have three children—Camille, Chandler, and Mick—along with a lively household that includes a dog, three cats, and ten chickens. As active members of their church, the Weaver family enjoys spending their free time outdoors.

Education and Legal Career

Attorney Michael Weaver attended the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, where he majored in finance and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. After earning his degree, he pursued his legal education at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, graduating in 2015. During law school, he earned multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, recognizing the highest-performing student in various courses. He passed the Georgia Bar Exam in July 2015 and became a licensed attorney in October of that year.

Michael began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Hall County Solicitor’s Office, handling thousands of criminal cases and over 40 jury trials. His experience in criminal law exposed him to countless victims who needed strong legal advocacy, reinforcing his commitment to standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. After three years as a prosecutor, Attorney Michael Weaver transitioned into private practice, joining his father, Mike Weaver, at Weaver Law Firm.
