Meet Dan Parr

Dan Parr has been practicing law for over thirty years, with the last twenty years at the Weaver Law Firm. He obtained both his bachelor’s degree (1987) and Juris Doctor degree (1991) from the University of Georgia. Dan’s practice is focused on personal injury and ranges from vehicle collisions, premises liability, dog bites, wrongful death, and other injury-related matters. He finds his motivation in being able to help clients return their lives to normal, as they were before an injury caused trauma and chaos.

Dan was born and raised in North Georgia. He has been married to Robin Parr for almost four decades. They are blessed with two sons, two daughters-in-law, three grandchildren, and three dogs. Robin is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church and an associate pastor at Dahlonega Methodist Church. Spending time with his family is Dan’s greatest joy.

Dan loves living in the North Georgia mountains. He and Robin love to trout fish in local streams and rivers or just walking in the woods. He says there is nothing like being in a cold mountain stream with no cell signal to distract you. Dan is actively involved in his local church, singing in the choir and leading small group studies. He serves in leadership roles in the Global Methodist Church, both on a North Georgia level and a global level. The most satisfying case in Dan’s career allowed him to combine his legal skills and faith when representing 185 local churches through disaffiliation litigation.
