If you are involved in a traffic accident investigated by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department, you can request a copy of the accident report at the Sheriff’s Office. A small fee will be charged for copies.
Requesting Your Accident Report from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office
If you are in an accident and the Forsyth County GA Sheriff's Department responds to the scene and investigates your case, you should be able to get an accident report from the Sheriff’s Department.
The accident report will have the information from all drivers involved. It can help prove who caused the accident and who should be responsible for the damages caused.
You may want to wait a week after your accident to allow time for the deputy to finish the accident report and file it. You must be someone named in the accident, an attorney representing one of the drivers, or one of the driver’s insurance providers to access a full copy of the report.
Then you can begin the online process of retrieving your collision report.

- Click the “accident report” box and begin entering information on your collision
- You may be able to look up information about your accident on the website
