Personal Injury Paralegal
Mercy Beard (Mercedes) graduated from Miami Dade College with an associate degree in Paralegal Studies and later received a Paralegal Certificate at the UGA Center for Continuing Education.
Mercy’s legal journey began in Miami, Florida as a Legal Secretary and Litigation Paralegal for over 15 years. Upon moving to Johns Creek, Georgia in 2008 she worked as an in-house Paralegal in Roswell, GA. She worked for more than 10 years as an Administrative Assistant at a non-profit organization in Johns Creek accrediting Physician Assistant programs nationwide. Mercy was happy to return to the legal field as a probate paralegal for two years. She has now moved to the Gainesville/Dawsonville area and is very excited to join the team of the Weaver Law Firm as a Paralegal/Case Manager and to return to the personal injury and workers’ compensation fields. Mercy is a native of Cuba, grew up in South Florida, and is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys living in North Georgia, taking hikes with her husband and two grown children and their dog Milo. Mercy’s passion in life is assisting clients and helping others whenever she can.
Courtney Davis
Marketing and Digital Media Manager
Courtney Davis joined Weaver Law Firm in 2024 as the Marketing Manager, bringing over 15 years of experience in public information and communications. Born and raised in Gainesville, she recently returned home after living in the NYC metro area for 18 years. Courtney holds a BA from Agnes Scott College and a Master’s in Public Administration from NYU. Since joining the Weaver team, Courtney has spearheaded a comprehensive rebuild of the firm’s website, enhancing its functionality and design. Her expertise ensures that Weaver Law Firm’s online presence reflects the firm’s values and commitment to excellence. Courtney focuses on digital strategy, branding, and community engagement to keep the firm visible and impactful in the region. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys relaxing with a good book alongside her boyfriend and two beloved cats. She hopes to one day retire to her ancestral homeland of Greece.

Front Desk Receptionist and Spanish Language Interpreter
Ashley has over two years of dedicated service at Weaver Law Firm, excelling as the Front Desk Receptionist and Interpreter. In this dual role, she is the welcoming face of the firm, ensuring a positive experience for all clients and visitors. Skilled in facilitating clear communication, Ashley supports the firm’s diverse clientele through her interpretation services. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations. A passionate sports fan, Ashley loves attending Atlanta Braves games and cheering them on. She thrives in the collaborative environment at Weaver Law Firm, enjoying the opportunity to work closely with a talented team and contribute to the firm’s success.
Amanda Dockery
Medical Records Coordinator
Amanda Dockery, the head Medical Records Coordinator at Weaver Law Firm, is responsible for collecting all medical documentation for the Attorneys and Case Managers, specializing in both Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation cases. She began her journey at the firm in the spring of 2021 as a Front Desk Receptionist and soon started contributing to the Medical Records Department. Over time, she has found interacting with clients and ensuring the proper collection of documents to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her role, as it helps move cases forward and brings them closer to settlement. Outside the office, Amanda enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors hiking or trail riding, and discovering the best coffee shops around.

Lacey Ogline has been with the firm since the Forsyth County location was built and opened in 2019. Her primary role is the firm’s Intake Specialist for all locations. She is responsible for making sure every client receives supreme customer service. When calling our office, Lacey will connect you with one of our attorneys best suited to discuss the options you may have with your injury claim or legal issue. If your case requires investigation, further research, or verifying information, Lacey will always do everything she can to tackle what helps you succeed. Sierra finds deep fulfillment in helping clients recover from the physical and emotional toll of accidents. She holds a degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of North Georgia. In her free time, Sierra enjoys reading fantasy novels, hiking, yoga, and participating in cosplay at Georgia conventions.

Her passion for helping others is evident in every case she handles, where her expertise and care make a profound impact on both clients and colleagues. Tammy enjoys teaching Sunday School to 1st through 5th graders at her church, she also loves camping, bird watching, bowling, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
